Tübingen, Hands-on, Basic Course 6-8 February 2012

Attingo dissection course

3 Dimensional Surgical Anatomy of the Nose and Paranasal Sinuses

Inline Image The aim of the course is to offer the rhino-surgeon a three-dimensional (3-D) multi-angled perspective of the sinonasal cavities and anatomic structures surrounding them. A new method to elaborate endoscopic anatomical images will give the participant the possibility to test a 3-D experience travelling inside the nose and its narrow spaces. Surgical anatomy and key landmarks for a safe and effective FESS will be overemphasized. Radiology and anatomy will be constantly compared to improve the comprehensive understanding of the different anatomic compartments. All lectures will be integrated with a movie-guided step by step dissection. Every participant will be personally followed by an experienced tutor.
